The Prexie Performers is a high school club run by Miss LaQuatra as assisted by Miss Boice. Began in 1988 by Mrs. Judith Totty, the group has continued in the tradition of performing plays in the LGI at Washington High School. Two shows are put on each year, typically one comedy and one drama as performed in the winter and spring.Shows are open to the public with each show running three nights each.
Most recent productions include: "Plan C: One Acts" including award-winning original plays by Wash High students ("Glad You're Here" by Sasha Edwards and "The Now" by Danny DiFabio), Guy de Maupassant's "The Necklace", and Tim Kelly's "The Face on the Barroom Floor."
Auditions are open to all 9th-12th grade students and all are encouraged to get involved in either acting, student directing, stage managing, set construction/design, or tech.
