Common Ground Teen Center Staff The Teen Center Staff position is available every year, near the end of the school year. For more information please ask a member of the Teen Outreach. Owner/Founder: Mary Jo Podgurski Mary Jo Podgurski is the founder of both the Teen Center, and the Academy of Adolescent Health. She considers herself by profession a nurse, educator, and counselor. Yet most importantly to her, she is a mother. Mary Jo strives to help young people in many different ways. She thinks children should be talk to speak up, model humanity, and respect others. Mary Jo has written several books, in a series called "The Nonnie Series" which is available for purchase on Amazon. Center Staff: Tamairra Bunge Tamairra Bunge is a senior at Washington School District, and enjoys many different activities. She likes to sing with her church, is a cheerleader for her school, performs in the high school musicals, sings in a youth band called Fools for Christ, and is an NHS member. Toni Maurer Toni Maurer is a senior at Washington High School. She is very ambitious, which is notable from the amount of groups she is in. Toni does the musicals at her school, is on the tennis team, and has joined many different school clubs, she is also an NHS member. Shelby Studt Shelby Studt is a senior at Washington School District. She is a part of her schools theater and a member of NHS. Maggie Thompson Maggie Thomspon is a senior at Trinity High School, and thoroughly enjoys working with Mary Jo Podgurski. Maggie is a member of her schools band, and enjoys to act in the community theater. Maci Ward Maci Ward is a senior at Washington School district, and is apart of many different actives and clubs. Maci is a cheerleader at her school, a member of SHO Committee, performs in her schools musicals, is in her schools band as a piano player, and is an NHS member. Landan Weakland Landan Weakland is a senior at Trinity High School, and is the coordinator of the Common Ground Teen Center. Landan attends the Teen Center almost daily and helps with many different programs.
