The Teen Outreach program is ran by Mary Jo Podgurski, who is known as "the Sex Lady" she travels to different schools with paid certified nurse to help educate youth about sexual education. Mary Jo Podgurski has been teaching in this field since 1988, she is known in our county as one of the best sex-ed teachers from her many years of experience. Is there a way for me to get involved with Mary Jo Podgurski's Observer Reporter article?

Is there a way to help with my troubled child?

Mary Jo doesn't find any child troubled, but is willing to help anyway possible with issues, you, or your child may be having. Please contact for assistance.

How do you help pregnant/parenting teenagers?

The Academy of Adolescent Health has a program called Pregnant and Parenting Teens, where teens with children can get assistance and learn how to be a parent. To join please contact any worker at the office.

How can I work at the Teen Center?

The Teen Center hires a new staff every year around the end of the school year. To apply you must be a Senior in High School (Some exceptions may be made.) The staff consists of around 5 different people, and one coordinator, who makes the schedules of who is working.
