Mr. David A. Dayton is the band director at Washington High School. He has been pursuing a career in music for 35 years. However, he did not become the band director at Wash High until 2002.
Mr. Dayton also performs professionally in a brass quintet. He teaches his students to never settle for mediocrity, never just go through the motions, to strive for quality and to always reach their full potential.

Mr. Marc T. Poole is the assistant band director at Washington High School. He is also the choir director and teaches the percussion ensemble. Mr. Poole is a graduate of West Virginia University and has taught at Wash High for 6 years. Mr. Poole contributes his time and effort to keep the Wash High Band's tradition of quality. Without his instruction, the band would not live up to their motto "Excellence with Class." |
