Mr. David A. Dayton
Mr. David Dayton is a graduate of West Virginia University and West Liberty University with degrees in Music Education and Professional Trumpet. While attending WVU he was the drum major of the marching band, a prestigious position. He taught at John Marshall University for a number of years after graduating. Until in 2004 he was hired on as the director of bands at Washington High School where he plans to stay for a long time.
Mr. Mark T. Poole
Mr. Mark Poole is also a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Music Education. In his time at WVU Mr. Poole served as the drum captain at the same time as Mr Dayton was the drum major. He served as the middle school band director at Washington Park School for a span of five years until he moved up to become the assistant director of bands at Washington High School.
