Aero 360 |

Thrill seekers will be more than satisfied by the thrills offered by the Aero 360.Two identical arms (which don the infamous Kennywood arrows) bring up to forty-eight riders at a time over the top as riders experience a looping sensation, which features both a forwards and backwards experience. This ride was manufactured by Zamperla and opened for the 2000 season.

Bayern Kurve |

The Bayern Kurve has made its way in and out of Kennywood numerous times as a classic flat ride, first appearing nearly fifty years ago. Its most recent version appeared in 2009. Up to thirty-two riders at a time board sixteen bobsled-shaped cars, which quickly spin around a circular track as the ride banks to a nearly 45-degree angle.

Black Widow |

Kennywood's newest thrill ride opened in Lost Kennywood for the 2012 season. Up to forty riders at a time board a giant disk, which swings back and forth in a pendulum motion as the ride intensifies. While swinging, the disk also spins. At its tallest point, riders of the Black Widow will hit heights of nearly 150 feet at a near vertical angle. This ride was manufactured by Zamperla.

Cosmic Chaos |

This unidentified flying object arrived at Kennywood for the 2007 season and has remained ever since. Riders board an alien-themed spaceship in an outward position. As the ride intensifies, riders spin while traveling on the ride's U-shaped track. This ride was manufactured by Zamperla.

Musik Express |

In 1987, this rockin' ride debuted at Kennywood featuring the ultimate hits of yesterday and today. This ride was constructed by Mack rides. While the ride only travels forwards now, it is sure to get your heart pumping. Riders spin around on a track containing a series of hills and dips, squeezing together with their fellow riders while listening to the latest hits. Be sure to ride after dark to experience this ride's stunning vibrant light package. As the front of the ride states, "Mit musik, geht alles besser"!

Pirate |

All aboard Kennywood's classic pirate ship ride, which was new in the 1982 season. Manufactured by HUSS, riders board a boat that swings back and forth in a pendulum-style motion. Beware of sea sickness when the ride reaches its full height, when riders can experience the ultimate weightlessness.

Skycoaster |

Kennywood's longstanding tradition of shows on the island stage of the Lagoon ended in 1994 with the debut of the Skycoaster. Up to three riders at a time are hoisted up to the top of an 180-foot tower, where they are then faced with the ultimate thrill of pulling a rip cord that releases them bungee-style straight toward the lagoon below before being saved by their bungee cords that swing them back and forth and a yard-swing-style motion. Riders travel in speeds in excess of 70mph. This ride requires an additional fee and reservations MUST be made in advance at the photo both located near the Jack Rabbit exit.

S & S Worldwide brought their famous Screamin' Swing attraction to Kennywood for the 2006 season. Thirty-two riders at a time board either side of two identical arms, which, at full height, reach angles over 90 degrees and face patrons roaming the midways below them. This intense flat ride offers riders sensations such as traveling forwards and backwards and also extreme weightlessness.

Volcano |

New for the 1978 season, the Volcano allows up to forty riders at a time experience upside-down sensations like never before. Riders board individual cabins on the circular ride- without any seatbelts. As the ride spins and picks up speed, the entire wheel lifts to a vertical angle, and, with its cabins free to swing individually, riders are taken over the top and upside down in an experience riders will never forget. HUSS manufactured this ride.
