They always do contests, for the teams who want to participate in them. You dont have to do them because they arent mandatory, they are just for fun. You get prizes for winning. Sometimes its a first place trophy, a softball deticated to you, or even a t shirt.
Some of the contests are :
- Slickest infield *fastest time throwing the ball around the bases witout dropping it* (they set up an order for you to do it in)
- Fastest Philly *whoever gets the fastest time running around the bases without missing a base*
- Homerun Durby *whoever can hit the most balls over the fence with a limited amount of pitches.
