The Wash High Football team is coming off an impressive year last year where they won the Interstate Conference and made it to the WPIAL semi finals. They fell short to Alliquipa to make it to Heniz Field. The Prexies lost alot of key seniors last year but the 2016 class is a very strong class and is one of the most talented classes to come through Wash High. The Prexies look to win a WPIAL title this year which will be the teams first WPIAL title since 2001. The Prexies had a chance in 2012 when they played at Heinz Field but lost in a blowout to Alliquipa.

Since Coach Mike Bosnic has been the coach the Prexies have won 2 conference championships and has a record of 79-40 in 7 seasons. In 7 seasons he has made 5 playoff appearances and has made it to the WPIAL championship once. Coach Bosnic has really turned this program around. When he became head coach the Prexies were struggling and he improved them to the team they are today.
