History
Washington High School's Volleyball team was initiated in 1974, with Ms. Starky as the head coach.
She coached the team for 5 years, earning the team their first section title. Buzz Richards started coaching
the team in 1979, and achieved in earning the team 4 more section titles to add to their list. After 6 seasons,
Ms. Starky returned to coach the team for 14 more years with assistant coach Nancy Gaul.
In her 19 years of coaching Wash High's Volleyball team, she earned the team 7 section titles and lead the
team to 10 playoff games. Ms. Booker has been head coach since 1999, and is still coaching the team today.
Every year the volleyball team has been very young, and have still succeeded in winning 14 section titles.
