My name is Malik Wells. I go to Washington High school. My favorite activities are to play football, run track and hangout with my friends and family. I began playing football at a very young age. I fell in love with it from the start. It has been my main sport for the last 15 years of my life and I hope to continue and play it for as long as I can. Track also seems to come naturally come to me. When I entered high school I heard about the track team and I decided to join the team. It is extremely competitive and as an athlete I enjoy the thrill of competition. My track career is not as prominent as my football one but I still consider myself a good track athlete. I've won 2 WPIAL track championships along with a District 7 4x100m gold metal. I think that is a pretty strong track career.
Ever since my first day of kindergarten I have been pushed by my persistent parents. They have made my a smart and enthusiastic young man who takes pride not only on the field of play in athletics but in the way I approach others and the way I approach school. My final year at Wash High is nothing short of great but what really set me apart was my tough school schedule. I found a strong balance between touch challenging courses and courses that will help further me in the long run for my hopeful job in the real world.
