50 Shades Of social Justice is a play bases on the different stereotypes of about 9 people. They all where different shades of gray. Lightest shade being Love and Darkest shade being hate. The darker the shade, the more hateful they are but the lighter the shade of gray, the more accepting and loving they are. Maci Ward plays Love in the play, while Shelby Studt plays Hate. Jacob Engel plays the second darkest shade of gray, not even a tad bit better than Hate. Shae Naylor plays the second lightest shade of gray. She is the the shade of reason, she tries to get people to accept everyone for who they are.

I myself play Person 6, the 3rd darkest shade of gray. This character hates everyone along with Jacob and Shelby but near the end, sees the light and has a change of heart and starts to learn a little bit of acceptance. 50 shades of justice has been performed in a few locations that I know of. Trinity High School, Penn State, and soon, Baltimore.

Mary Jo herself along with students she helped and Amy (her daughter) created the play. There are also small plays that were created by Shelby, Toni, and some other people, but this is the big main play. It takes a little bit of practice to understand the play and its lines but after 2-4 re-reads, you get the whole gist of things. You have to be able to act with your voice more than your movements fore you don't move to much at all in the play. So your voice has to be powerful and loud fore we also don't have microphones when we perform. The play usually brings around 200 to 500 people a performance. The play in Baltimore will consist of about 400 people in the audience.
