The main plot of the show focuses on the lives of 6 adults. Each season is nourished with comedy and romance, appealing to a large audience. Rachel Green, Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Phoebe Buffay are all friends, living off of one another in the heart of New York. Over the course of ten years, these average group of buddy's go through massive mayhem, family trouble, past and future romances, fights, laughs, tears and surprises as they learn what it really means to be a friend.
Rachel Green is played by Jennifer Anniston, Ross Geller by David Schwimmer, Monica Geller by Courteney Cox, Chanler Bing by Matthew Perry, Joey Tribbiani by Matt LeBlanc, and Pheobe Buffay is portrayed by Lisa Kudrow.
