The Life of Conner Roberts

My mother is Amy Roberts. She has a bachelor degree in special education and works at Chartiers-Houston as a special education secretary, my father is Marlin Roberts. He is a carpenter that works for the union and has been working pretty much his whole life. I have 2 siblings and their names are Tyler Roberts, he attends Wash High and is a sophomore, he plays football and is a Tight End and a Defensive End.(16) and Piper Roberts, she attends the elementary school and is in 5th grade. She does a little bit of everything just like me, she dances very competitively and is a big contortionist.(10)

Some things that I hate is homework in general, I think that is a pretty general consensus of the whole student body, but I will truly not do work outside of school. If it doesn't get done in the school, it will 100% not be done at home. Another thing I hate are shorts without pockets, I think they are truly the root of all evil. The 3rd and final I will be talking about what I hate is how underrated people see the movie Happy Feet, I personally think it is a work of art and everyone should give the love it deserves.

Top 5 Colleges

My future plans is to study computer science and play soccer, I am not sure where I am going and even if I am going to play soccer. I could play for a div 2 or div 3 team, just not sure which one.

I like to hangout with friends and basically do anything with them, I also like to play soccer with my friends.

Favorite Video Games

My favorite food: Plums or Coleslaw. I get that it is a weird combination, but I love nothing more than a good plum that is fresh or some good coleslaw. Favorite Clothes: Crewneck, beanies, flannels. I like a lot of base color things and plaid, just things that blend in or black. Favorite Sport: Soccer. I have been playing soccer for 13 years. I have played cup soccer for 6 years and my team is ranked 3rd in the region going into the season.

I am a pretty involved kid in the school in my opinion throughout academic clubs and extra curriculars all the way to sports. For the school I am involved in, Key club, National Honor Society, and Student council. For sports, in the fall I am involved in Soccer, Cross Country, Marching band, and football. For the winter, I do wrestling for the school and soccer for my cup team, in the spring, I am still doing cup soccer and also either tennis or baseball for the school. So I am always doing something no matter what time of year it is.

Early Life

I was born right here in the Washington Hospital weighing really underweight as a baby, but nothing too concerning. I was born at 3:27 A.M. so I was a perfectly timed baby... I was raised in Claysville so out towards the McGuffey area, Conner was a lil' farmer boy back in the day.

My parents and I bounced a little bit from house to house after moving out of Claysville until my parents bought a house here in Washington, on the same street as the high school. I have lived in that house from that point on.

Elementary Life

From that point on I was a prexie. Attended here my whole life, I was always an advanced kid growing up and everything always clicked so I didn't really have to work to understand anything or barely even pay attention.

That was a blessing at the time, but later came to bite me in the butt. I now have no work ethic in school, when stuff doesn't click, I just give up. I don't really know how to work for something to click in my head.

In elementary school though, it was great. I got the good grades and I was on High Honor Roll and was always the good kid. I had great loving teachers that shaped me into the young man that im becoming today.

Most of my elementary school experience is a blur and I can't really recall any specific memories from elementary school, but I know for sure it was a lot better than what it is now.

High School and Senior Year

I'm now in High School and boy where do I start, I could go either with struggling from the start of freshman year in Advanced Biology because I never really knew how to study. I could also go with missing 2 years due to covid...

My senior year still isn't normal due to this pandemic and it started as a sophomore. So my high school experience kind of sucks and I haven't even had the whole shabang.

Of Course I have had some great memories that I wouldn't trade for a lifetime, but I have also had the lowest of lows in my life during this time. Times where I flourished and thought I was on top of the world, but also times where I struggled and could barely recognize myself in the mirror.

That takes us to my senior year, i'm going to go to college and going to get that degree I have wanted for years to prove to myself that I could do it. I want to play soccer and continue to grow in the sport, I want to grow as a person and keep working towards the man I am becoming today.
