Hi, my name is Matt Pacilla, and I'm doing my web site project on the 2005 Wash High Prexie Baseball Team. The team had an outstanding season, finishing first in their section and making the playoffs. The Prexies started out sluggish during the beginning of the season with an (0-3) start, but turned things around and won 15 straight games, setting a new school record that has been unbroken for more than a decade. During their winning streak, the prexies attained huge victories over rivals Brownsville and Waynesburg, beating both by more than 10 runs. The prexies dominated in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs, beating Laurel 9 to 3. Unfortunately, the team lost to North Catholic in the second round and were eliminated from the playoffs. Even though the Prexies lost, they still had an incredible season. Next season should be even better!
