Release the Feast!
Thirty hour famine is a weekend event that the youth group takes part in, where famine, with the exception of juice to stay hydrated, for thirty hours. During the famine there is worship and a few games on the first night to start off the famine, then the next day, we go to the Christian Outreach, and help out with clothing, and cleaning needs then worship there. After this, we return to the church to round up for a scavenger hunt! When the scavenger hunt is over, we finish the night off with a long awaited feast! We'd love to see you there!
Acquire the Fire
Epic Truth
Acquire the Fire is a two day Yotuh event the youth group attends, at the Peterson Event Center, to worship, learn, and have fun with their peers! ATF has many different things going on such as many different genre's of music, plenty of worship, and youth ministers that help you to really get into the word. I personally would have to say acquire the fire has taken an eternal positive impact on me, and can do the same to you! You wont regret attending Acquire the Fire!
Dinner & a Movie
Dinner and a movie, is a youth event where the youth group will be serving the guests a three course meal, also holding a baby-sitting area for restless children, and presenting a movie afterwards. This annual event has always been a hit for the youth group and for the people who come. Come out this friday, February 28th for Dinner and a Movie!
Beach Week
Beach Week is a week long youth event, taking place at myrtle beach where a youth ministry team, Billy Wayne and the Tattered Saints teach, minister to, and simply have fun with the youth, playing games, having worship, teaching them things such as silent ministry, and helping teens find their way, and be saved. This event is simply life changing and is definitely worth the trip.
