Wash High's Band History
Wash High band was organized by Paul Harding in 1927. He was the Director of Instrument. In the Fall of 1959
Hardings retired from Band Director. Afterwards, Marc J.Svaline became the director until he retired
at the end of the 2004 school year. That's when they got the current band director David Dayton. He had became
the 6th Directors of Band in the summer of 2004.
Mr.Dayton has shaped/ formed the " Little Prexies " band, into the determined and dedicated band it is today.
The band has been awared many honors and citations. It contuines to regarded as one of the most outstanding
organizations in the school and the community.
